Callie attended the University of Houston Clear Lake where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in American Jurisprudence in 1999. While at the University of Houston Clear Lake, Callie was a member of the Alpha Iota Honor Society, President of the Legal Studies Association and Vice President of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity. She also earned the Phi Alpha Delta International Mock Trial award for Most Outstanding Prosecutor. Callie attended South Texas College of Law and was a member of the Samuel Houston Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta and was awarded a Phi Delta Phi, Wood Inn Chapter, American Jurisprudence award. She received her law degree in 2003 and was licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas that same year.
Representative Experience
In addition to the successful resolution of matters through pre-trial motions and mediations, Callie has represented clients in several jury trials.
- June 2006 – Successful defense of two emergency medicine physicians in a medical malpractice case alleging failure to diagnose pseudotumor cerebri. (Second Chair)
- October 2005 – Successful defense of an emergency medicine physician in a medical malpractice case alleging failure to verify tube placement in an overdose patient. (Third Chair)
- August 2005 – Successful defense of an emergency medicine physician in a medical malpractice death case alleging failure to diagnose thoracic aortic dissection. (Second Chair)
- November 2004 – Successful defense of an emergency medicine physician in a medical malpractice case alleging failure to diagnose a retained foreign body. (Second Chair)
- October 2004 – Successful defense of a general surgeon in a medical malpractice death case alleging failure to properly perform a colon resection. (Second Chair)

Callie’s outside interests include memberships in the Houston, Texas and American Bar Associations, the Texas Young Lawyers Association and Houston Young Lawyers Association, where she serves on the Trial College Committee. She is also a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Franklin Hardin Chapter. Callie has recently embarked on an acting career, having appeared in national and local television commercials, independent feature and short films as well as a major Hollywood motion picture.
